The practice has a good relationship with the medical profession and we will be happy to work with your doctor to establish the best course of action, though it is not necessary for your doctor to be informed that you are attending.

Robin Kirk has been in practice as an osteopath and naturopath for over thirty years. He was also on the Council of the British Osteopathic Association (BOA) and has recently resigned the Editorship of the British Osteopathic Journal (BOJ). He taught technique and was a senior clinic tutor for over twelve years at the British School of Osteopathy (BSO). After being Course Leader of the MSc program at the BSO he was appointed Principal of the London School of Osteopathy (LSO) in 2000. He has also been a Final Clinical Competences Assessor since 1998, the gateway into being registered with the GOsC.

Robin Kirk was the osteopath to the Australian Cricket Team for the first part of their tour of England in 1989. It was the beginning of their reign over the rest of the world; perhaps after last summer he should again tour around with them. He also was the osteopath to Somerset County Cricket Club in 1984.

Catherine Varnon graduated from the British School of Osteopathy (BSO) in 1993. As well as the more traditional structural approach she uses functional treatment, which can be gentler for patients who react to manipulation, and visceral techniques. She also works within the NHS in both a GP surgery and in the Rheumatology department of a hospital.
