Associations
The British Osteopathic Association, through its Executive and its elected Council, represents the views of members to the General Osteopathic Council, the Department of Health, local and national government agencies and other professional bodies.
The AOA is a member association representing 59,000 osteopathic physicians (D.O.s). The AOA serves as the primary certifying body for D.O.s, and is the accrediting agency for all osteopathic medical colleges and health care facilities.
The OAO's mission is to advance the profession of osteopathy by unifying its members and educating the public. They, through the Canadian Federation of osteopaths, are committed to promoting the highest, safest level of osteopathic practice in the province of Ontario, Canada
